Description

The engine belt works to connect the components of the car engine through pulleys with each other where it binds pulleys of the air conditioner compressor, dynamo, and the water pump with the crank pulley. Once the car engine is turned on, the crank pulley starts moving and the rest of the components by the engine belt, and continues to work until the engine is turned off.

Signs that indicate belt damage:

Squeaking sound when the engine starts
Cracks in the engine belt
